Add/Edit Location

The 'Add Location' wizard has three screens. Once all information has been entered into a screen, select the "Next" button to continue to the next screen. You will not be allowed to continue if the information on the current screen is not complete or has errors. If this happens, the screen will be redisplayed and the fields that need attention will be highlighted. A 'Previous' button allows navigation back to preceding screens within the wizard. Information will not be saved until the 'Save' button is selected on the final screen.

You can leave the 'Add' wizard at any time by selecting the 'Cancel' button at the bottom of any page. In this case, you will be returned to the 'Location List' page, and all information that has been entered into the wizard will be deleted.

The 'Edit' buttons on the 'View' page take you directly to the corresponding page of the Location wizard.

Set Location Information Screen

The first screen gathers basic information about the location, such as a name, address and phone numbers. Rooms may also be defined and associated with classes when the class is set-up. To add or modify rooms, click on the link to the right of the 'Rooms' label. If rooms have not been assigned, the link will read, 'No rooms have been provided'. Otherwise, current rooms are listed. When the link is clicked, a pop-up window will open asking you to specify the number of rooms along with a name (or number) for each room.

To enable correct Sales Tax processing, you will need to identify the county where the location is situated, and whether it is sales tax exempt or not (Please consult a tax professional if you are unsure).

Set Map and Picture Information

The top two sections on this screen define the link used to show the map and driving directions to the location. YourVirtuoso is setup to use Mapquest, Yahoo, or Google. Any of these three may be selected automatically, or a custom URL (web address) may be entered in the text field. To preview any of the mapping services for the current location, click on 'View' to the right of the service name. Then, to utilize one of the suggested services, click on the associated 'Use' link. The text field will automatically fill in with the appropriate URL string for the service and the current location.

A text field is also provided where you may add some specific direction details. These are directions that might not be included from a mapping service, such as 'We're across from City Mall'.

The bottom sections of the screen are used to upload location pictures. Three checkboxes are located above each text field: 'Keep Current', 'Delete Current', and 'Upload New'. Selecting 'Keep Current' will not change the current picture for the location, if any. 'Delete Current' will remove the current picture, if any. 'Upload New' will upload an image file you select by clicking 'Choose'. This action replaces current pictures that may already be loaded.

On the last page of the wizard, all location information entered is summarized. If the data is correct, click on 'Save'. Location information will be saved and become immediately accessible in other sections of the system. Changes can be made by clicking on the "Back" button to return to previous screens. Once the information is saved, the updated Location List page will redisplay.
